Blackened, technical, dissonant death metal with really cool textures and psychedelic tendencies. Despite the seething, atonal chaos, there are also melodies, and enthralling tremolo picked atmospheres drawing from the best of black metal's sensibilities. This is a perfect balance of aggression, technicality, dissonance, and melody, with tremendous replay value despite the scant 34-minute runtime, as the densest sections take some serious attention to dissect. This is very, very good.
